Each season, the Big Band of Rossmoor presents lively, high-quality performances that bring classic and contemporary Big Band jazz to audiences throughout Rossmoor and the greater Bay Area.

Ticket sales cover only a portion of the costs required to rehearse, perform, and maintain a performance-ready library of music, allowing us to focus on service, education, and artistic excellence rather than commercial pressures.
The Big Band of Rossmoor provides musicians ages 13 to 86 with a rare, multigenerational opportunity to grow musically together. Through our Generations in Jazz model, experienced musicians, adult members, and student associates learn from one another, preserve America’s classical jazz tradition, and bring renewed energy and relevance to every piece we perform.
